Meet the team

Bernie and Annika are the husband and wife team behind Pinkstone Projects, which was born from a love and passion for design and renovation as well as a desire to help others upgrade their living spaces and maintain their investment properties.

Having renovated a number of their own properties over the years, the team bring with them a wealth of knowledge and expertise in creating both functional and stylish interiors as well as a strong skill set and best practices in repairing and maintaining your home.

With a hands-on approach having been on the other end, they understand from a client’s perspective the importance of keeping to budget within a timely manner.

Making changes to your home or investment can be a daunting and sometimes costly exercise, however with Annika and Bernie’s combined skill sets, you can be sure you’re in good hands as they seamlessly guide you through the process from start to finish.

Bernie is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and has over 10 years experience in property maintenance and renovations. He's also recently completed a small property development on the Sunshine Coast. Annika holds a diploma in Interior Design and Decoration. She has previously worked for a high end furniture company for 7 years in Sydney as showroom manager and residential sales consultant, as well as years of renovating experience within Australia and New Zealand.

All the pre-planning was made simple because Annika was able to create “mood boards” with samples of the products that we’d need to create the look we desired. She ensured that there was a variety of price points to compare. When it came to carrying out the project, renovating a small, dark and dreary bathroom/laundry, we were confronted to some “worse case unknowns”, e.g. pipes being concreted into walls etc. This didn’t phase Annika and her team - a few consultations and solutions were found for every bump we encountered. The team was extremely professional, the timing was tight and Annika managed the various trades to ensure that the original time table didn’t blow out - the team worked like a well oiled machine.
